Applicants to the 101 College Street Community Scholarship must:
· Reside in New Haven’s Hill, Downtown, or Dwight neighborhoods; and
· Be currently enrolled at Southern Connecticut State University or at Gateway Community College and are pursuing bioscience-related coursework; or
· Be high school seniors who plan to enroll at Southern Connecticut State University or at Gateway Community College and are pursuing bioscience-related coursework; or
· Adult members of New Haven Works who are or intend to pursue bioscience-related coursework at Southern Connecticut State University or at Gateway Community College
To apply for the 101 College Street Community Scholarship, you will need to:
· Fill out this application form
· Submit transcripts from the school you currently attend, if applicable
· Present proof of membership to New Haven Works, if applicable
· Submit an essay that describes your career and/or academic goals. What have you done to achieve these goals? What are your plans to continue to work towards achieve them in the future? The essay should be between 1,000-1,500 words.
